Her work is inspired in the natural studies of porcupine quills together with the book ‘Africa Adorned’ by Angela Fisher, making her quill’s a recognised signature mark on her Design’s.
The different qualities of line, shape and size in harmony with the use of precious metals creates rhythm, fluidity and movement interest, giving a simplicity and minimalist sense throughout the body of work.
Her work explores and emphasised contrast in metals using red and yellow gold, polished and oxidised silver, rubber, mixing handmade textured links with fine chain, combining a variation of finishes and adding colour by using precious and semi-precious stones and pearls.
